A housing crisis

It’s estimated that to meet the housing needs of the population of England over the coming decades, around 345,000 new homes will be needed to keep up with demand. Currently, house building is significantly below that level creating long term problems for many people. Research by the housing charity Shelter suggests that over 750,000 working families are at risk of eviction from their current tenancies.

When even dual income professional households can find it difficult to secure a long-term let what hope is there for vulnerable groups? People with mental health issues, rough sleepers, those fleeing domestic abuse, refugees, ex-offenders and those with dependency issues can find it practically impossible to secure safe accommodation. As a result, it can become even more difficult for them to move on, recover and build a life.

ICDE Homes offers a tailored solution for local authorities and charitable organisations, providing both housing and support to some of the most vulnerable people.

Together, we can help people in vulnerable groups to rebuild their lives.
